Booster seat?
When did you switch you kids from the car seat to a booster seat?
Olivia is heavy enough to make the switch now.. We were out the other day and she saw a pretty pink/floral booster seat and she wants that one.. but it doesn't have the high back on it so I was curious when you all made the switch and if you used one with a full back or not...

Re: Booster seat?
Jenn I had the same issue for a while, Jaco's been nagging me for the last 5 months to do the switch but I was hesitant and when he came home now we finally made the switch and I must tell you I'm glad we did, they work wonderfull and the kids just love them...... I never used a booster seat with Marco but it is just easier with the twins.
We got the full back once that can adjust at the back according to their height as well....... I think it is a Chelino make.......

Re: Booster seat?
I know it would be a tonne easier than the 5pt harness in her seat... And the seat she has now we will be able to pass on to Kayleigh in a few months time...
Maybe I am just afraid if I switch her it will really mean she is growing up.. lol Here it is law that they have to be in the seat till they are 9 so we will need to make the change at some point in time.... |

Re: Booster seat?
I did when mine got over the required weight limit for one. I did the no back one and never had any problems.

Re: Booster seat?
My mom and I both have high back boosters for Avaree in our cars. We also have 2 that don't have a back. We use one of those in James' car, but she rarely rides in there. Avaree only weighs about 37 lbs and I feel better about the boosters with a back. On the ones with a back, there's a spot at their shoulder that the seat belt fits into so it's in the right spot and not rubbing the neck.

Re: Booster seat?
She's three right? Sorry my brain is a littl foggy.
Does her height also match? you really should have both matching. For me, and my kids are big like Olivia backless boosters don't happen until after 4, for some reason the backless ones just don't fit around the shoulders right until then. Vanna should technically be in a booster, she is 5, 55-60 pounds and 4'1. If I looked at just her age she would be, but everything else makes her to big for them, I know the laws mean well but unless the child fits into the "cookie cutter" mold it can be hard to decide when it is the right time to move the seats around.
