DH's New Job.. - Just Us Parents

Well chucky is changing jobs for the first time in 5 years..he is going from selling mattresses to hotels to selling furniture..which is hopefully going to be a good move for him..first year is salary..but next year it is 100% commission..and that scares me..but i know he wants the challenge..and i think it is better to take this risk now than later in life..but i will probably be on my own more often for a while..we will see..wish him luck..

Good Luck to Chuck ! I hope it works out really well! I would be nervous too about 100% commission! I hope he will still be around some to help you out at home! good luck to both of you!

With 100% commission he will be on the road a lot won't he?

Look at it this way - he has a year to decide if this is something he can support a family doing before he actually has to worry about supporting his family on commission alone. I wish him lots of success in this new endeavor.

yep, not sure how much over night, but lots of day trips for sure

Yes, I sure can see how this decision could make you guys nervous. I bet he is excited about the change, at the same time, too. I wish him lots of luck and satisfaction in this change. Katie has a great point.
